It’s Tuesday (My Monday)

Yesterday was a sick day, so today is Monday, though it’s really Tuesday. That doesn’t really matter so much though, as my desire to be anywhere but work.

Anyway, concerning the Mac Mini, I checked back, and four of the six offers have been completed. I’m still waiting on two of them to be reported (Real Rhapsody and South Beach Diet). The fastest to approve by far was BMG. Of course, that’s costing me close to $50 alone, but I figure I get 12 music CDs out of it for a decent price. My credit card also shows a suspicious charge now for something I’m not so sure I bought. I’m going to go through my receipts and make a call tomorrow if I’m still not sure what that is. Tomorrow, I’m going to cancel everything that was already reported. Hopefully, the Mac Mini will arrive soon. (BTW, I don’t plan on keeping it but putting it up for sale on eBay or Craigslist.)

I’ve stopped linking digg articles, as there’s a RSS feed providing you a nice list of all the articles I’ve dugg. Also, if you’re on digg, send me your username, so I can add you as a friend. I’m always curious about what other people find interesting. Plus, it’s a good way to get interesting articles I missed.

Anyway, despite what I said in the previous paragraph, I feel compelled to post this, as I find it extremely disturbing. This article recounts how two agents from the Department of Homeland Security visited a college senior at UMass Dartmouth after he requested a copy of Mao’s “The Little Red Book”. The book is apparently on a watch list. Are you kidding me?

Thanks for the update on the Mac Mini. Also - you still have me on your Blogroll as snlincoln - but it is now essential_perceptions - I know you know, just forgot to update the page.
