Hurray?
I have the pleasure of jury duty tomorrow and have to appear at the federal courthouse at 8:15 AM. WHAT? I’m barely awake at 8:15. I’m usually leaning against the wall of the shower half asleep at that time.
Does anyone else find it ironic that the website for jury duty info is www.mad.uscourts.gov?
The best part of it all is this is grandy jury service, which means that I could have the pleasure of serving once a week for twelve to eighteen months, if selected. I can understand a few days for a trial, which is what usually happens, but eighteen months? Ack!
At least I’ll be out early in the afternoon.
